Teaching is part of me. I can’t think about myself without also thinking about teaching.
Given my enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring people from different walks of life, I aim to provide students with a memorable journey through the discovery of the beauty which marks the Italian Language and Classical Latin.
I love engaging students with passion, dedication, attention and respect, alongside communicating with empathy and understanding.
My background in linguistics (Classical Latin and Ancient Greek) is a great support to my lessons, in terms of being able to give to my students proper Grammar basics create the base of their learning.
Academic knowledge, experience in two different hemispheres and dedication are vital and characterise my lessons.

I had been studying Italian for several years before I met Beatrice. I had become frustrated by the fact that I still struggled to speak the language, after all why does one learn a language? Lessons with Beatrice are very inspiring. I am now able to understand a lesson conducted totally in Italian and I am encouraged to speak Italian. Furthermore the lessons are different every week, they are very interesting and conducted in a lovely relaxed Italian atmosphere.
It is more like having a chat with a dear friend than a lesson.
I always look forward to my lessons with Beatrice, from that first warm welcome and her beaming smile, to the fun, interesting, challenging and well-prepared lessons. I always leave feeling uplifted, encouraged and excited about my Italian language journey. Beatrice is always so patient, encouraging, enthusiastic and so dedicated to teaching that she is always willing to go much further than expected of her…a born teacher! She gently corrects errors when needed, knows when to let them ride, never judges or criticises or laughs at my attempts and is so warm and personable, that one cannot help but feel at ease around her.

Beatrice is a true delight. I discovered Beatrice while looking to learn Italian for travelling. A native of the Veneto region, Beatrice knows about all things Italian. Beatrice created a language course for me to manage travelling in Italy with ease. Beatrice covers everything from ordering food in a restaurant, train and bus tickets, buying clothes, to counting in Italian and lots more.
